Devan Pierce

Chief Administrative and Chief Compliance Officer

Devan is the Chief Administrative and Chief Compliance Officer at GiantLeap Capital. She brings over 15 years of experience including multiple administrative roles at some of the most prestigious institutional firms in financial services including SAB Capital Management, where she worked for Samir Parikh.

‍Before joining GiantLeap Capital, Devan worked directly with Annaly Capital Management’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. In addition, during her over four years at the firm she worked closely with its Middle Market Lending Team on fundraising, with the Legal team assisting on new deal execution, and with the Operations team to improve the company’s in-house production of the company’s quarterly investor and board of director materials. Finally, Devan also supported the Risk and Investor Relations department, helping to maintain proper relations with current investors and the board of directors.

Devan started her career in finance at SAB Capital Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund, where she worked directly with the founder, CEO Scott Bommer, and team of investment professionals. She also served as a research associate providing support for the Investment Team.

Devan received her BA in Art History from Columbia University.
