Michael Resnick

Michael is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Tallwoods Partners, which is a lead anchor investor in GiantLeap Capital. He has played an integral leadership role in the investing and business components of a large, complex family office. Michael worked with Samir Parikh at a Chicago-based family office, William Harris Investors.

From 1995 to 2013, he was with William Harris Investors, Inc. (WHI), a family office that manages more than $1 billion. Michael served as executive vice president since 2000 and headed the Alternatives Investment Group. From 1991 through 1995, he served as an associate in the corporate department of the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York.

Michael received a J.D. degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, and a B.A., magna cum laude, in humanities from Yale University. He is also a member of the Bar of the State of New York and serves on the Board of Directors of Computer Logic, a former portfolio company of WHI, and is on the Advisory Board of Invest for Kids.
