Sivan Zamir, P.E. is Vice President, Early-Stage Innovation at Xylem. Xylem (NYSE: XYL) is a leading global water technology and solutions provider, revenue of $7.8B, with 22,000 employees and presence in 150+ countries. Sivan leads Xylem Innovation Labs, Xylem’s global team that partners with startups and universities to accelerate technology development and commercialization of emerging technologies that are at the cutting-edge of creating a water-secure world.

Prior to joining Xylem, Sivan was a construction manager on large commercial construction projects across California. She then spent a decade in Israel founding early-stage digital startups, specifically industrial IoT for the water and power industries and digital twins for membrane-based desalination and heat exchangers. Sivan holds a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of California Berkeley and Stanford University, respectively.

She currently lives in Los Angeles, is on the Research Advisory Council for the National Alliance for Water Innovation (NAWI) – a US DOE $110m consortium for early-stage desalination technologies, is an advisor to several startup companies, mentor for Techstars and Imagine H2O, and career advisor for the Stanford Alumni Network.
